UPCOMING DATES
Winter Retreat
Each year over Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, the youth group enjoys a winter getaway, usually at a camp located north of Houston. This is an important time for growing in their faith, strengthening their relationships with one another, and deepening their relationship with God.
COA Sports Camp
Each year, the Christian Outreach Alliance—a partnership of four churches in the Clear Lake area—hosts a FREE Sports Camp in early June. The camp runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a light meal served at 5:00 p.m. It offers soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, and cheerleading for children who have just completed kindergarten through 5th grade. Our students are encouraged to assist with coaching and help in the overall operation of the camp.

Abilene Christian University Leadership Camps
Leadership Camps began in 1982 with a vision to provide spiritual development and leadership training among children and youth. Their simple mission is to equip campers for the Christ-centered journey and foster personal spiritual growth through dynamic worship, community development, and service/servant leadership. This is so much more than your average summer camp!
Registration usually opens in November each year.

Impact Week
Since its inception the summer of 2008, Impact Week has been one of our most effective church-wide efforts to reach out to our community and share the unconditional love of God with our neighbors. Led by our youth ministry and supported by a strong contingent of volunteers from our church family, Impact Week is an effort to pray for and serve our neighbors, with “no strings attached.” Our goals during Impact Week are to “Love God. Love Others.” (Mark 12:30-31) and to put “God’s Love in Action” (I John 3:16-18). It is usually scheduled around the last week of July.
