 KIDS ARE THE CHURCH

Our Kid’s Ministry teams are committed to showing kids the love of God. Our hope is that everyone who walks through our doors would leave knowing:

1) They Are a Child of God, &

2) They Can Live as Part of God’s Family.

  • WHAT WE VALUE

    Family

Every day is an opportunity to live as part of God’s Family. We partner with parents to provide resources and materials so that parents can #TakeFaithHome.

    Safety

We have a check-in system with parent ID tags, and team members who have all passed a comprehensive background check.

    Learning

The foundation of every Christian’s faith is Christ. We want every child to enjoy encountering Jesus through biblical teaching so they will want to seek Him out on their own and with others.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Nursery
    0-5 Yrs

Our Nursery opens at 9:15 am Sundays and remains open until Bible classes end. You are welcome to bring your child in or out at any time during our worship or Bible class time.

    Bible Class Hour
    1st - 5th Grade

Bible class starts at 10:45 am. Kids will enjoy learning about the Bible in fun and engaging ways.

    Worship Hour
    1st - 3rd Grade

Everyone is welcome to join us in our main worship area, especially kids! Kids should go to the sanctuary with their parents and after communion parents are given the opportunity to take their kids to Praise Kids for the remainder of worship.

TIPS & REMINDERS FOR NEW FAMILIES

    Check-in

    Shy Children?

    Worship Packs

    On Your Way Home

When you arrive for the first time the best entrance for you to come in is the Guest Entrance. The check in station for the Kids' Minsitry is located at the gym entrance which is at the end of the hall to the left. We will ask you for names, mobile numbers, birthdates, and if your kids have any allergies.  After you become familiar with the process of checking in, you’ll be able to do this yourself very quickly through one of our self check-in stations.

Don’t worry, we will text you if there are any problems. Make sure you keep your phone close. You might consider letting them bring a special to help them feel safe.

We try to make worship easier for all families by making worship packs available in our lobby for kids and providing a Nursing Mother’s Room in our Nursery Area.

Ask your kids what they learned. They will have plenty to tell you. And remember, we provide resources for parents to follow up with what their kids are learning.
