Adult Bible Classes

That the World May Know – Ginger & Kyle Jeffers

Fellowship Hall

This class is a video series by Ray Vander Laan on  understanding the Jewish roots of Christianity. The more fully we understand and appreciate the land and the culture from which it sprang, the more fully we can respond to the power of the Word.

Men on a Mission-The Class – Mark O’Rear & Kevin Stafford

Room 13

Colossians – Exploring the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus and how that changes us and our role in His Kingdom. Paul stresses our new life in Christ – out of darkness and into light – now driven by faith and love instead of selfishness and anger. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17)

Saving Truth – Carrie Colley

Fellowship Hall

By accurately describing the Culture of Confusion and how it has affected our society, author Abdu  Murray seeks to awaken Westerners to the plight in which we find ourselves. This video/book study provides arguments from a Christian perspective for the foundations of truth and how those foundations apply to sexuality, identity, morality, and spirituality.

Anxious for Nothing – Erin Kimes

Room 219

When it comes to anxiety, depression, and stress-related illnesses, America is the frontrunner. Thankfully, author Max Lucado, provides a roadmap for battling with and healing from anxiety.

Spanish Bible Class – Janna Gonzalez

Room 14

This class is open to all who are interested in exploring scripture and its practical application for our lives today. Topics vary throughout the year.

Youth Bible class

6th – 12th grade

We meet every Sunday morning in the youth center for breakfast and Bible Class. We start breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and usually begin class around 9:30. We think it’s so important to learn about God in ways that engage the mind, body, and spirit, so no class is ever the same!

TeamKids is our Bible program for 1st thru 5th graders where our kids learn about God’s Love, Plan, Power and Purposes in a new and exciting way. Each week we sing songs straight from scripture, center around for  big group Bible story, break into small application/activity groups, come back together for a fun game in the gym that reinforces what we have learned, and end by circling up for prayer. Kids can earn points each week by being on time, bringing a Bible, wearing a TeamKids shirt, bringing a friend, and saying the memory verse of the week. Every 8 weeks we open up our TeamKids store where kids can buy fun stuff with the points they have earned. We also offer families extra material and our memory verses as tools to continue the conversation at home.
