Palm Sunday 2021
Sunday, March 28, is Palm Sunday. It is our tradition to have a Palm Sunday Parade during worship as we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. All children, from infancy through 5th grade are invited to participate. During the Palm Sunday Parade and while in the sanctuary, children 2 years and older should wear masks in keeping with the most recent CDC guidelines that our KidMin program is following (see attached). Parents of children too young to walk are invited to carry their children and participate. Jana Layman will lead the children in a practice during Praise Kids immediately prior to their lining up in the back foyer. She will lead the children from the back foyer into the sanctuary after Family Prayer. All parents are welcome to leave their seats and join in the parade as well. (We will have palm branches available for you too!) At the end of the parade, the children will be dismissed to sit with their parents for the conclusion of the service.
Here are the links to the two songs the kids will be singing so that your family can learn them together!

Good Friday 2021
On Friday, April 2, at 7:00 pm there will be a Good Friday Service in the sanctuary. This is a dark and somber service that takes everyone up through the death and burial of Jesus, but no further. This service is most appropriate for those who are comfortable in dark and quiet scenarios. For preschool-age children and under, there will be childcare in the nursery area. In keeping with our Updated Covid-19 Guidelines (see attached), children 2 years and older should wear masks. Please register here if you will be bringing your child(ren).
Easter Sunday 2021
On Sunday, April 4, at 9:30 am there will be breakfast for all outdoors in the lawn/parking lot area. There will be a photo backdrop for picture taking.
During the worship time, there will be a Children's Moment in the sanctuary. While in the sanctuary, children 2 years and older should wear masks in keeping with the most recent CDC guidelines (see attached). After the Children's Moment, preschool-age children and under can enter the Kid’s Ministry area. Children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade will remain in the service.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held immediately after worship on the church lawn. Children and families will exit through the double doors at the back of the sanctuary where they will receive a bag to collect eggs and an Easter craft to take home. It is not necessary to bring Easter baskets this year nor is it necessary to wear masks outside!
