Bill received his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and a Masters Degree from the University of Houston. He taught and worked in various administrative positions in Texas Public Schools. He retired from public education and currently works as an consultant in public education.
Bill states that the professors and environment at Abilene Christian University were the most influential factors in his spiritual life. He was profoundly influenced by God-loving people who took a personal interest in his mental and spiritual development. He sees God working in this congregation as he observes the spiritual development of members through their prayer life, worship, and ministries. He currently teaches a Bible class for new members and is encouraged as he observes their growth in the knowledge of God’s Word. Bill sees a great future for the church as more people come to understand the need for God in their lives. Parents have a great desire for their children to grow up knowing God and His plan for all mankind.
