The nature of God is so beautifully represented in the Parable of the Prodigal Son.  The Father patiently waits---and looks---for his lost Son.  HE did that for me when I wandered away years ago.  HE never gave up!  And---this prodigal son did return.

My prayer is that our church will be one that waits with open arms to receive a child of God who has lost his way or who has never even “known” the way.  May we be a place of refuge for those who need the warm embrace of a caring band of Christians.
