Byron has been our preaching minister since December, 1999.  He combines a love for the Word of God and a love for people that makes his preaching and teaching refreshing food and drink for those who are hungry and thirsty for God.  After receiving his master's degree in theology from Harding Graduate School, Byron spent the first several years of ministry among college students.  His primary focus was helping non-believers come to know Christ and grow to maturity in Him.  This desire to help people know God continued to be the passionate motivation for his life as he transitioned into preaching ministry.  The greatest joy of Byron’s life is his family.  With his children all college age or older, Byron and his wife Liz are now looking ahead to what the Lord has in store for them as they approach this new season of their lives.
