Babysitting Co-op is held on most Saturdays from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. and available for parents with children ages 2-12. It is a great time for parents to get some time alone and for the children to play together with their friends. Each parent works one Saturday and has approximately five weeks free—depending on the number of families participating. If you are interested in joining, or need more information, contact Ginger Jeffers at 281-480-1029 or e-mail her at ginger_jeffers@sbcglobal.net.

Prayer Warriors:  Be a Prayer Warrior for one of our teens.  Sign up in the foyer.

Parenting Class: Clear Lake Church of Christ will be offering a FREE parenting class, Effective Parenting in a Defective World. This class involves a nine-week video series by Chip Ingram, as well as group discussion time. Effective Parenting in a Defective World teaches principles for successful parenting, as revealed in God’s Word. This class is applicable to parents of children of all ages—from toddlers through older teens. Couples who are contemplating starting a family are also encouraged to attend. This class will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. from September 23 through November 18. Babysitting will be provided. Contact Lee Anne Robbins or Tiffany Shafer for more information. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

Camino South Work Day: On Saturday, September 25  the Clear Lake City Community Association is sponsoring a work day in Camino South to trim the bushes that line Sealiner Drive across from the park.  Because of our partnership during Impact Week the last few years, they contacted us to see if we could help!  This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside our neighbors in serving the community.  Let's have a huge showing from our church family in support of this effort!  If you can commit to helping, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  There is a job for everyone so sign up your whole family!  Also, if you have a chainsaw or gas powered hedge trimmer that you can bring, please make a note when you sign up.

Note: The community association will provide lunch in the park after the work is done.  Please help support this awesome event!
