Elder Selection: Sunday, February 5 is the deadline for submitting nomination forms. Nomination forms are available at the Welcome Center and resource articles are available on our website. 

Mother’s Day Out Teachers Needed: Mother’s Day Out is currently hiring teachers. Applicants should have experience working with children, be able to lift 40 pounds, and be comfortable sitting or standing for long periods of time. For more information, please contact Rachel Mayberry at 281-486-9763 or mdo@clearlakechurch.com.

Refuge Family Meeting and Potluck Lunch will be held in the Refuge Center immediately following worship on Sunday, February 5.  Please bring food to share with everyone and stay around for the meeting. We will distribute the spring calendar and also cover some other very important information. 

LTC Registration and Payment is being accepted at the table in the foyer. The cost is $35 per child. Also, please indicate a tee-shirt size on your form. 

Team Family: Moms and Dads of 1st through 5th graders are invited to join their child(ren) for Team Family on Wednesday, February 8, in Room 129. We look forward to seeing you there! 

An Adult Valentine Potluck Fellowship will be held on Saturday, February 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Special entertainment will be presented by The Stars and Stripes Ukulele Band. Costumes, hilarious antics, jokes and music will fill the fast-moving one-hour program for all to enjoy! Sign up in the foyer to attend and indicate the food items you will provide. COA Apartment Ministry Needs Instructors: The Christian Outreach Alliance (COA) is in need of two additional people to teach a sewing class for residents of the local apartment community. We currently have a class of 10 students and 5 instructors. Qualifications include patience, love, and the ability to teach elementary clothing construction. The class meets on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Clear Lake Methodist Church and follows the CCISD calendar. They do not meet in the summer. Contact Marlene Payne (281-615-3311) or Dorothy Haw (832-865-7537) for details.

Congregational Study: We will devote four Sunday nights to study and examine the scriptures regarding instrumental music in worship. Join us at 6:00 p.m. Childcare through 2nd grade will be provided.
