Impact Week Begins Sunday

Led by our youth ministry and supported by a strong contingent of volunteers from our church family, Impact Week is an effort to connect with, pray for, and serve our neighbors with “no strings attached.” Our goals during Impact Week are simple: to “Love God. Love Others.” (Mark 12:30-31). And this year we are going to focus on what it means when we become “Love In Action”.

We know that “The Church” really refers to the people in the building, but sometimes we get caught believing that what we do inside the building matters most. Impact Week is about just the opposite. We spread the love of Jesus by what we do OUTSIDE the walls of our building!

During Impact Week, we spend our mornings and a few evenings knocking on every door in the neighborhoods surrounding our church building, meeting our neighbors.  We pray over the prayer requests we receive and we spend the afternoons fulfilling all the service requests we can.

There are many ways our church family can be involved in Impact Week. Please check out the Ways You Can Help and fill out a Volunteer Registration form and drop it by the office or turn it in on Sunday morning.

Impact Week t-shirts will be available Sunday morning. For those who pre-ordered, payment and pickup will be available in the foyer on Sunday. If you signed up on the waiting list, we’ll fix you up if we have the extra shirts to do so. Hopefully we will!

Food donations: Lunch is provided every day during the week and dinner a couple of times, so we need lots of food.  Sign up here for any items you can contribute.
