Family Promise of Clear Creek Update

Dear Supporters and Friends of Family Promise,

We are writing you at this time to keep you informed of the current status of Family Promise of Clear Creek.

The program began hosting families early in 2012. Since then, we have assisted numerous families to transition into stable living arrangements. This was due to the support of 17 churches and hundreds of volunteers. In late summer of 2013, we closed the program temporarily due to administrative issues.  Our hope had been to reopen the program this summer, but due to the sudden departure of our new Executive Director this did not happen.

At this point, the Board has voted to temporarily suspend the program. The National Family Promise Organization is to be developing a plan to begin anew. This would be a fresh start-up with a new Board of Directors. The funds on hand would be available to begin this effort. We should have more specific information within the next few months and will communicate that to you.

If you have any questions or would be interested in playing a role in the start-up, please contact Clifton Fridge at
