Our last Inspirit for the summer will bon Wednesday,  August 12, immediately following the potluck.

Inspirit will give everyone in the congregation an opportunity to connect and grow as a community through song, stories, and building relationships. One purpose of Inspirit is to draw the generations together by providing a variety of worship experiences.  All children,** adults and teens are encouraged to participate.

**Inspirit Update:

Recently, the ministry leaders decided to change Inspirit in order to more fully include families in an intergenerational worship experience. This change is being made for the purpose of encouraging closer relationships between members of all ages with the belief that those relationships foster a faith that will last in our young.  -see article

This will affect families in 2 ways:

(1) There will not be a Bible class offered specifically for children. However, there will be loosely structured activities for children within the service.

(2) There will not be a traditionally staffed nursery. However, there will be individuals ready to assist with young children in a variety of capacities.

For those that have been a part of Inspirit, we will be maintaining what has made it meaningful: intergenerational acts of worship such as preaching, singing, and praying. We are prayerful that The Lord will bless our efforts as we try to create a space for honest worship for all ages.
