Cardboard Box City

cbbcApril 4-5 – 5:00 p.m.—7:30 a.m.

Cardboard Box City is an event to raise funds for and to promote awareness of homelessness. All proceeds from the over-night event will help Family Promise of Clear Creek (FPCC) further its efforts to transition families from homelessness into housing.
Participants donate a minimum of $50 to FPCC to “rent” a lot in Cardboard Box City . Your “house” is a cardboard box that you bring to the event and set up on your rented lot. Information and sponsor/participant forms are available online now:
Family Promise of Clear Creek is a non-profit organization providing homeless families with interim shelter and support services, with the goal of transitioning the family into permanent housing. Family Promise provides comprehensive assistance for these families in a manner that offers hope, preserves dignity, and promotes self-sufficiency.
Network churches provide housing and meals for homeless families. FPCC provides a day center, located in Pearland, where families work on job searches, education, and whatever is needed to get them back on their feet.

What is the procedure for just making a donation without renting a BOX?
