Becoming a Christian: The Gospel proclaims that Jesus was God in the flesh, lived a sinless life as a human, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. Because of His sacrifice, we can be saved from our sins, changed into His likeness, and have eternal life. After hearing the Gospel, one must believe in Jesus as the Son of God, decide to no longer follow the ways of sin but rather to follow Jesus as Lord (repentance), and then be immersed in water (baptism) to join Jesus in His death and resurrection. Having thus responded in faith, your sins are forgiven by the power of the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is given as a gift to empower you to live the new life of faith.

Taking Communion: Each Sunday we observe the Lord's Supper. As we eat the bread and drink the fruit of the vine, we share in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus. We are reminded of the great love God has for us by remembering the price Jesus paid for our salvation from sin. We invite our visitors to join us in this time of thanksgiving. May you be encouraged to know the Lord better by your participation.

Responding: We invite everyone who desires prayer, spiritual counsel, or to be baptized into Jesus' death and resurrection to speak with one of our elders or ministers during the family prayer time. You may also make note of your needs on an attendance card and place it in the collection plate.
