Churches of Christ
The Churches of Christ are a body of Christians whose origin lies in the American Restoration Movement and whose objective is to build unity among all Christians through a restoration of New Testament Christianity.  We strive to teach and practice the truths of the Gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ) in our worship, relationships, and daily living.

Mission
The mission statement of Clear Lake Church of Christ is Helping One Another to Know God.  The Clear Lake Church of Christ exists to help people know God through Jesus.  As we come to know Him, we are transformed by His spirit to be like Him.

Inward, Upward, Outward
At Clear Lake Church of Christ, we look upward when we worship together.  Sunday mornings, we come together for the purpose of praising God.  Our adult Bible classes focus our attention inward.  While we encourage everyone to be a daily reader of God’s Word, we also see the value in gathering together for Bible study.

Genuine worship (upward) and good Bible study (inward) create within us a desire to serve others.  This is the outward focus that makes us the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.”  Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16). ith your brothers and sisters in Christ.
