What to Expect

R791

Clear Lake Church of Christ is an intentionally diverse group of people. We seek to be a church that looks like John’s description of heaven in Revelation 7:9: “A great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” We call this our R7.9 Vision.  Our church is composed of all ages and includes people from a variety of nations. We come from many different educational, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. What we have in common is our Savior, Jesus Christ, and our desire to be the people he has created us to be.

Our motto is “Reflecting Jesus.” In everything we say and do we want others to see Jesus living in us.  We welcome everyone no matter where they are in their spiritual journey. We accept people as they are and seek to help them grow to maturity in Christ. Whether you are a beginner in the faith or a long-time servant of Jesus, we invite you to join us in our mission.

In 2017 we are continuing a journey of discovery called BELIEVE. Beginning in January we will explore ten key Practices of a Jesus-follower and then ten key Virtues that characterize one becoming more like Jesus.  Each week we will be digging into the Scriptures using the book, Believe: Living the Story of the Bible to Become Like Jesus.

You are invited to join us in this process of deepening our faith and trust in Jesus.  When you visit our services we consider you an honored guest.  Use our guest parking and please stop by our welcome center and pick up a free gift.
