Family Prayer Time
During our Sunday morning assembly an invitation is always given for prayer. We call this Family Prayer. Our shepherds, ministers and their spouses, position themselves around the sanctuary to receive people in prayer. Anyone who desires to come for prayer or to request spiritual guidance or baptism is invited to speak to one of these leaders during this time.
Communion
Each Sunday, we share in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus by observing the Lord's Supper or communion. As we eat the bread and drink the cup, we are reminded of the great love God has for us by reflecting upon the tremendous price Jesus paid for our salvation from sin. Everyone is invited to participate in this time of thanksgiving.
Singing
Congregational, acapella singing plays a prominent role in our worship assembly. We sing a mixture of classic hymns and contemporary songs. On a typical Sunday, our singing is led by a praise team and many times our chorus will lead worship for special themed services and during the holidays.
Sermon
Each week, a lesson is delivered from the Bible to help us grow in our knowledge of God an in our understanding of what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Everyone is encouraged to read from their own Bibles during the sermon. Bibles are also provided in the pew backs for this purpose. Sermons are recorded each week and may be downloaded from the church website using the Resource tab.
Contribution
An offering is collected each Sunday to give our members an opportunity to give financially to support the church. This money is used to fund all of our operating expenses as well as support our various ministries and mission efforts.
